About Frontier FFA

Frontier High School lies in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley in the city of Bakersfield, California. The high school is composed of over 2,000 students, with diverse and awarding winning educational and extracurricular programs. Frontier FFA is just one of those programs with over 400 members. It is more than cows and plows. Frontier FFA was founded in 2006 and is a three person department. The Agricultural Science department offers numerous classes: Agriculture Earth Science, Agriculture Biology, Floral Design, Agriculture Communications, Agriculture Government, and Agriculture Economics. We are looking to expand our department by adding an Agriculture Mechanics and Plant Science Program. Students in our Agriculture Communications program put on several events, our biggest event is our Food For America Program. During Food For America we invite over 500 1st and 2nd graders to learn about agriculture. We have several Career Development Team's such as Parliamentary Procedure, Livestock Judging, and much more. Frontier FFA's teachers and students work diligently to ensure the success of our program.
